Pumpkin Spice Snickerdoodles

It's officially fall which means we are ready for all things pumpkin spice! Cozy up with these deliciously festive snickerdoodle cookies! Heat oven to 400°F.  Mix 1 1/2 cups sugar, 1/2 cup softened butter, 1/2 cup shortening and 2 eggs in large bowl. Stir in 2 3/4 cups flour, 2 tsp cream of tartar, 1 tsp baking soda, 1 tsp vanilla extract and 1/4 tsp salt. Mix in 3-4 crumbled up Nature's Bakery Pumpkin Spice Fig Bars. In a separate small bowl, mix 1/4 cup sugar and 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice, set aside. Shape dough into 1 1/4-inch balls. Roll balls in pumpkin pie spice-sugar mixture. Place each dough ball 2 inches apart on an un-greased cookie sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until set. Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack and enjoy!!
