Nature’s Bakery + Feeding America Disaster Relief Efforts for Hurricane Harvey

Nature’s Bakery has teamed up with Feeding America to donate product for the Disaster Relief Efforts in response to Hurricane Harvey.

Hurricane Harvey is the first major hurricane to make landfall in the United States since 2005. Several areas around eastern Texas experienced catastrophic flooding after they received up to 50 inches of rain in a four-day period. Harvey has resulted in the displacement of more than 30,000 people and prompted at least 13,000 rescues.

After hearing about the large number of people in need of assistance, Nature’s Bakery and Feeding America worked together to send out disaster relief donations to those affected, sending pallets of snack bars to four different food bank locations. A total of 97 pallets of Nature’s Bakery products were shipped to Food Banks in San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Victoria and Houston on August 31st.

Feeding America and Nature’s Bakery urge everyone to do their part and help those impacted by Hurricane Harvey. Donations for the Disaster Relief Effort can be made at www.feedingamerica.org.
