However, for others, this time of year is just the beginning of the hustle and bustle. It can be stressful!
I love the Fall, but for me it also brings extra to do’s. It can be very easy to solely focus on these to do’s and not stay fully engaged in the joy Fall brings. I have vowed to myself that I will celebrate each and every day in October, even through the busy times.
How do you find joy in the little things when your schedule is a little overboard? Think about this. Have a plan for when you are overwhelmed. Have a plan for savoring each moment you are in.
My plan for October is simple. I am going to print out a calendar, color it (coloring can be a stress reliever), and write in simple, everyday fun activities to do at home. These will not be time consuming or over-the-top crazy, but will remind me to look around and find joy every single day.
For example, on October 1st I will put up a few Fall decor items and set pumpkins out by my front door. Another day I will make my own chai latte and sit outside for a chat with my husband.
What would be on your October or November calendar? How will you find ways to enjoy every day this Fall?
