What’s your story?
I was born and raised in Switzerland. At the age of 13, I left my school in Switzerland and moved to a boarding school in North Wales UK, which was better suited to deal with my dyslexia. That’s where I was introduced to climbing and when my hobby became a passion and life goal.
I have finished high school there and now, after a foundation year in London, I am moving back to North Wales, close to climbing, to study product design. Eventually, I want to make climbing my profession. I am lucky being able to travel the World regularly, and participate in numerous expeditions all over, which I have been doing for the past five years.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Every free minute is used for climbing and training. At the moment, it’s all about finding the balance between studying and training.
What is your favorite aspect of climbing?
Being outdoors and being with like-minded friends. Training and having this unparalleled feeling of strength and power over mind!
What does a day in the life of Tim Muller consist of?
My day usually starts around 6:30am, when I will go for a run, followed by breakfast. Then usually Uni till 5pm, followed by chilling/relaxing with some university work until an early dinner at 6pm. After that, I have another training session from 6:30-8:00pm. This rounds up my average day.
What motivates you to Live Inspired?
The drive to become the best in my individual pursuits.
What do you hope for the future?
To climb my first 8C and boulder V15; and make a living from doing what I am passionate about. My ultimate goal is to be a mountain guide and travel the World inspiring people.
