Coaching is very important to me, I love being able to pass on what I have learned over the years to new paddlers and veteran paddlers alike.
Anik is a forever passionate athlete, and she is continuously looking to have more fun, be fitter, faster and perform in her athletic life. she want to be an awesome mom and provide an healthy and adventurous life style through paddling to Jax, along side of Jay. She is an entrepreneur and she is eager to drive the company to its maximum potential of success. She has ambitions to keep getting faster on her SUP in the season to come. Anik is also joining the K2 alliance regional team and with skiing and paddling, Anik has hopes for my lifestyle and her coaching to provide a role model example to all the woman that she has the chance to meet throughout her athletic life, sharing the practice of determination and discipline. With the objective in mind to get the ladies as fit, as confidant and as happy as a women can be.
Spending most of her existence ski racing, after a career ending injury in 2009, Anik was inspired by new projects; developing Watermans Landing and become a mom. In the meantime, because of her head injury, she find herself restricted to padding and find her new calling SUP. It was just a matter of time before the talented athletes would take on a new sporting venture. Stand-up Paddle Boarding came naturally to the athlete that once was a sprint Canoe-Kayak competitor.
” I REALLY FELL IN LOVE WITH THE SPORT OF STAND-UP PADDLE BOARDING, THE TRILL OF BALANCING ON THE WATER AND THE PHYSICAL DEMAND AS WELL AS THE TRAINING IT REQUIRES TO COMPETE DISTANCE RACES IS SOMETHING I REALLY ENJOY. IN ADDITION THERE IS THE SPIRITUAL ASPECT OF WALKING ON WATER AND THE CHALLENGE OF SURFING WAVES. IT’S A NEW SPORT AND IT’S AWESOME TO SEE IT EVOLVE AND BEING ABLE TO EXPERIENCE ALL THAT WITH FRIENDS AND FAMILY”
